BEGINNING PHOTOSHOP FOR THE PAINTER/PHOTOGRAPHER
Let me show you how to use Photoshop to adjust, improve, edit your photos as well as combine & collage sections of several together. Use photos to create studies to paint from, fine art photographs or finished digital paintings. Join me for one of these wonderful on-location photo shoots and studio manipulation workshops. *** Do I bring my own equipment?
You must provide your own equipment. Laptops with the proper amount of memory and drive space. (At least 256 ram - 512 to 1g better and enough free hard drive space for all your photos). An "Intuos3" 4x5 wacom tablet is definitely a plus. You can get info at www.wacom.com (USB connection best).
The class teaching manual is based on Photoshop CS2 so consider an upgrade. It will be worth it! A good working knowledge of your computer and camera is certainly helpful.
Sorry, there isn't time during class for computer repair so please be sure you computer is in good working order. All our time is geared to creativity.
You’ll see lots of examples of my different painting techniques and learn step-by-step just how to do them. This is definitely a hands on experience. A course manual is included in the tuition price.
